What is your cancelation policy?

Most reservations are cancellable up until 7-days before the arrival date as with standard reservations the total balance due will be charged to your card 7 days in advance of your arrival. For reservations during special event weeks and weekends payment is due in full at the time of booking. Reservations made during these times are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

When are the special event dates?

Independence Day July 4,2024, U.S Sailboat Shows April 26-28,2024, October 10 – 13, 2024, October 9 – 12, 2025 and U.S Powerboat Shows October 3 – 6, 2024, October 2 – 5, 2025; USNA Commissioning Week May 20-25,2024; USNA Parents Weekend August 10-13, 2024; Naval Academy Induction Week June 27-30, 2024; USNA Home Football games August 30-September 1,2024, USNA Military Bowl TBA; Eastport Yacht Club Lights Parade December 6-8,2024.

Reservations for Commissioning Week 2025 May 19-23,2025 will require a 25% non-refundable deposit upon booking, the remaining balance will be due January 1st, 2025 and at that time will be non-refundable and non-cancellable.

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in is 3pm. Check-out is 11am.

Where is Gibson’s Inn located?

Gibson’s is located at 110 Prince George St, Annapolis, MD 21401 next to the Gate One Commodore John Barry Memorial Gate.

Is parking available?

One parking spot is included in the reservation, if a guest will have more than one vehicle it is an additional $50 per day when an additional spot is available.

Do you allow animals?

Yes, we have three pet friendly rooms: Garden Room, Rhapsody in Blue, Cecilia Suite

Do you allow service animals?

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Guidelines, service animals are welcome. Guests accompanied by service animals must notify the main office in advance. Failure to do so will result in a $250 fee to cover thorough room cleaning. Service animals are allowed, except in exceptional circumstances (e.g., out of control behavior or lack of housebreaking). Guests must visibly indicate the status of their service animal. Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) must adhere to our Pet Policy as they do not qualify as service animals under ADA Guidelines. 

Damage or Theft of Hotel Property Policy:

Guests are liable for any damage to the room(s), Inn premises, or property caused by them or their party. Gibson’s Inn reserves the right to retain payment details and process amounts necessary to compensate for incurred costs or expenses due to damage. If damage is discovered after departure, we reserve the right to process amounts for repairs. Efforts will be made to minimize costs incurred by guests. Damage to mattresses, linen, towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, or blankets will result in a charge of 150% of full replacement value plus shipping and handling charges. This covers special cleaning, repair, or replacement of the damaged article. Excessive dirtiness may incur a cleaning fee. In cases of extreme conditions, guests may be asked to vacate the property without a refund. Fees, determined by contracted work, will be charged to the card on file. The hourly deep cleaning rate by our Housekeeping Staff is $50, with an additional administrative fee of $150.
